Fat Shark Dominator HDV2

The Fat Shark Dominator HDv2 goggles will be released for shipping at the end of September 2015. Fat Shark redesigned the controversial original HD goggles in the version 2 and provided a truly exceptional set of goggles this time which is worth every penny. Pilots and visitors had a sneaks preview chance to try on the Dominator HD V2 at the #fatsharkfrenzy event in Collingwood, Ontario,  August 21st, 2015. Many pilots and visitors were blown away by the clarity and the quality of the optics and image on the 50 degree FOV HDV2 goggles. The side by side capabilities were tested and presented through the EMR Laboratories HD3dLite camera with truly 3D imaging in an 3D HD camera solution. While the 55″ LG 3D TV gave an option for the visitors to check out the 3D image coming from the HD3D Lite camera, the Dominator HDV2 presented an unparalleled 3D full immersion experience which cannot be described in simple words. People who tried this on compares the view to what they see with their own eyes – without any goggles or anything in 3D.

Domhdv2_1 The Fatshark Dominator HD series goggles already benefitted from superior HDMI connectivity which now has been further refined in the Dominator HD V2. Like the lower resolution solution for the Dominator V3, the Dominator HD V2 benefits of 720p resolution through a robust mini HDMI port.  With this improvement Fat Shark made the Dominator HDV2 the best competition to the Sony Cinemizer at a much lower cost. Users of Ar Drone Parrot Bepop, DJI Phanotm 3 or a DJI Inspire 1 drone can now benefit of a very high quality image and extremely large viewport size in the goggles if they choose using the Fat Shark Dominator HD V2 with their drone.
