November 17th, 2007 Tests:
The setup was the following:
Transmitter: New Generation Hobbies 611 Transmitter - 100mW transmitting power. Receiver: New Generation Hobbies Advanced Receiver with the Diversity Module 635. The receiver/antenna setup: It is illustrated in the following thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=773069
Ch. 1 The flight range is about 500 meters left and right from the flying station - total flight distance is about 800 meters. On this channel I am picking up heavy interference. The video has not been altered in any way - this is the exact footage of the flight. | Ch. 2. On this channel I am picking up less but still visible interference. The video has not been altered in any way - this is the exact footage of the flight | Ch. 3. On the middle of the field the video quality gets worse - this is when the diversity switches from one input to the other one. The video has not been altered in any way - this is the exact footage of the flight. | Ch. 4. On this channel I am picking up almost no interference. The flght battery died in the middle of the flight - so I had to circle around and land. The video has not been altered in any way - this is the exact footage of the flight. |
November 11th, 2007 Tests:
Transmitter: 100mW Ngh-Txm-611 module Receiver: Ngh-Rs-01 with the upcoming Ngh-Rm-635 installed Note: The receiver is set to Channel 2, since on Channel 1 I was picking up some intereference. | Transmitter: 100mW Ngh-Txm-611 module Receiver: Ngh-Rs-01 with the upcoming Ngh-Rm-635 installed Note: The receiver is set to Channel 3, since on Channel 2 I was still picking up some intereference.
